The
message comes – It is given to all
people
“… I bring you good tidings of
great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the
city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” ( Luke 2:10-11)
The
gift arrives -- It is delivered to all who call upon His
name
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
The promise foretold -- It is unveiled to all who abide with Him
Isaiah 9:2-7 shows us the promises of Light, of Gladness, of Liberty, of Peace, of an Extraordinary King, of an Everlasting Reign.
In awe and wonder,
we praise and worship
Our Lord and King
The Holy One
whose birth
is celebrated
on Christmas Day
whose death and resurrection
is commemorated
on Easter
whose life
guides us
