God blesses ... and then

God blesses
and then...
the battle begins

It was so
with His Son
"whom He loved
and was well pleased"
(Mark 1:11)
It is so
with us
His children
adopted through the shed blood
of His Son
who died to set us free

God blesses
and then...

at once
we are in a quandry

Tested and retested
God knows the final result
But we ...

we are not all and always
like Christ
who stayed committed
to His Father
no matter what
Satan attempted

We think
whatever Satan
poses to us
is different
from what he
posed to Jesus

But is it?

Sin is sin
No matter what the sin
saying no to it
refusing to give in to it
trusting God
and being obedient to Him
is what it is about

We will be
blessed again...
to give us hope
and to strengthen us
for the darkness
to come.
