"Let there be Light"

“Then God said, ‘Let there be light’; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness.”  -- Genesis 1:3-4

“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.”  --John 1:5

Morning Light
but not the sun
separated
the grand expanse
of the deep abyss
of nothingness

All was chaos
what was
could not be
distinguished
It was without form

With the Light
that came into being –

(not created light)
there was Life.

Birth
Freedom
Freedom to praise The Almighty

Chaos gives way
and of the darkness
Light is revealed

Morning Light
Jesus is the Light
He is The Son
He is Life

It is His Light
that shines
upon the souls
of mankind
bringing them
out of the darkness
of sin
and into a
new life.
